Support Students from Little Saskatchewan School

This weekend, two students from Little Sask. School are participating in the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium.

Destiny Desmarais (l), Tara Brass (r)

Tara Brass and Destiny Desmarais were both gold medal winners at the MFNERC Science Fair held Feb. 15-16. Their projects were then chosen to go on to the Manitoba Schools Science Symposium and, additionally, to represent Manitoba at the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Lethbridge, AB.

Tara’s project is on Water Treatment and Filtration, while Destiny’s is on Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potassium and pH levels in soil.
The public is invited to view the projects on April 28, 9:30am – 2pm at the Max Bell Centre, U of M.

Congratulations to both these young women!
Be sure to watch for our Spring newsletter, which will feature an in-depth look at Little Saskatchewan School, and the success they are having with science.
