Youth Language & Culture Camp

Our language program was proud to host a culture camp for youth, August 2-4, 2016.

This gathering provided youth with the opportunity to reflect on self-identity while participating in Indigenous education through land-based and culturally relevant activities. All hands-on activities, stories and songs that were shared throughout the event were done in the context of First Nations Languages. The camp also gave youth an opportunity to learn from Elders and network with other First Nations youth in a language enriched environment.
