2021 Virtual Science Fair
Registration is closed. Student project submission will be open between March 22 – 26, 2021.
The Manitoba First Nations Education Resource Centre and the Manitoba First Nations School Systems are proud to announce the 2021 Virtual Science Fair.
For the past 18 years, we have been holding the Manitoba First Nations Science Fair and recently the two additional regional fairs, Island Lake Regional Fair and Keewatin Regional Fair. Due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the MFNSF which was scheduled for March 2020 was cancelled.
This year, the MFNERC Science and Technology team and MFNSS Science Facilitator, joined in a partnership to develop a Virtual Science Fair. This Virtual Fair is designed to provide students from all of the MFNERC and MFNSS communities’ schools the opportunity to present their work remotely.
Students from Grades K – 12 are encouraged to participate in this fair to showcase their work. Participants will be rewarded for their effort to generate a project that reflects their skills in the scientific process. In addition, there will be draws for a number of grand prizes.
