The 2014 Lighting the Fire provincial Student Essay Contest theme is: “Sounding the Drums: Reclaiming our Rightful Place in Indigenous Education.“
Teachers who have grand prize winners will receive one registration for the 2014 Lighting the Fire conference. All teachers who submit a write-up of their school contest to darcy-annet@mfnerc.com (for the MFNERC newsletter) will receive a book on essay writing. Details have been added to our website!
