Join us this week for daily activities you can enjoy from home. Check out our interactive calendar to see our social media lineup for the week of May 4–8, 2020. We have animal names in Ojibwe-Cree with David Flett, Dene kitchen words, and talking about spring in Cree. Star Stories with Wilfred Buck will now occur every Monday! We have our weekly #mfnercgetmoving, #mfnercwordwednesday, #FNlanguagesmfnerc, and of course, #mfnercstorytime twice weekly.

Sensory Play Activities

Sensory play is interactive activities designed to help children explore their 7 senses: touch, smell, taste, sight, hearing, body awareness, and movement. Check out these fun sensory play ideas using the materials you can find at home!

Are you looking for fun learning activities to help entertain your family? If so, you are in luck — the MFNERC Occupational Therapy team has some exciting projects on the way, including some playdough fun! Playdough is a perfect playtime activity for developing children’s fine motor skills. We are sharing an easy to follow recipe, along with interactive games and ideas.
