Meet Our Staff – 11

The “Meet Our Specialists” section of the website has been changed to “Meet Our Staff”. And the next edition is here! This feature used to focus on the MFNERC education specialists (literacy, numeracy, science, special education etc.) who work directly with Manitoba’s First Nation-run schools. Now, while it will continue to introduce those fine folk, it will also regularly feature many of the other wonderful, hard working people at MFNERC.

Darcy-Anne Thomas

WestCanLTF_2015-141If you were at our recent Lighting the Fire Education Conference you probably saw Darcy-Anne enthusiastically introducing the LTF student essay contest winners. She co-ordinates that annual literary event; however her primary role at MFNERC is a curriculum developer and instructor for our online high school – Wapaskwa Virtual Collegiate.

Tiffany King

IMG_5245A self-proclaimed “book nerd”, Tiffany’s role as Library Technician for our Winnipeg Instructional Resource Centre suits her perfectly! She is one of the many friendly faces you may have seen at one of our education conferences, as shown in this photo where she helps out promoting our libraries’ resources (at the 2014 Circle of Knowledge & Practices).
