Thank you to everyone who attended the premiere screening of Our Tomorrows, Today: Wahbung 1971.
Please join us on March 30 at 7pm for this free, short documentary screening, panel discussion and reception. At the Eckhardt Gramatte Hall, University of Winnipeg.
Our Tomorrows, Today: Wahbung 1971 explores the history of Wahbung, the position paper written by the Manitoba Indian Brotherhood (MIB) in response to the Trudeau Government’s White Paper (1969).
The discovery and use of lost archival footage from the events of 1971, is an exciting addition to the creation of this film.
We will also be launching the accompanying book and teacher’s guide (which includes a DVD of film). They will be available for sale at the reception after the screening.
