Every year MFNERC hosts the Lighting the Fire Education Conference. The Conference brings together educators, professionals, First Nations leaders, Elders, government representatives, and First Nations citizens from throughout Manitoba and Canada. With over 30 workshops on First Nations Education best practices and classroom strategies, and hundreds of delegates in attendance, the conference is the perfect opportunity to showcase yourself, your business, or organization.
Aboriginal artists, First Nations schools, businesses, cultural groups and non-profit organizations are all encouraged to register for the tradeshow. You can download the application form here.
The theme of the 15th Annual Lighting the Fire Conference is “Achieving Balance Walking in Two Worlds: Culture and Education in the Twenty-First Century”
We look forward to seeing you there!
