Greetings in Dene

Families

Today’s topic is on a sample greeting. In the Dene teachings, edlanet’e is always the first word we hear when we greet someone. In a formal greeting, we would shake hands.

For this presentation, Agnes Carlson will briefly say a greeting and to share with you, where I am from and who my parents are, and my grandparents, from my father’s side of the family.

Grade levels are for Grades 3 to high school. Students will listen and practice saying an introductory greeting at home and at school. If they need help, they can work with their parents and their grandparents. Masį.
