“Mino-Pimatiziwin: Promoting positive school health practices and First Nation perspectives”
With this theme in mind, Sagkeeng Education, in partnership with MFNERC, hosted a wonderful well attended, two-day event at the Sagkeeng Community School, March 25 & 26. Not only were the workshops full and informative, the hallways and classrooms were near bursting with displays of student work, art, projects and photos.
Using the Medicine Wheel as a guide to promote health and wellness, the regional conference focused on social and physical environments, teaching and learning, partnerships and services, and healthy school policy.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the conference!
