This roundtable is for Middle Years 5-8 Teachers.
Two days for roundtable re: Mathematics and the land- Why do we need to teach land- based activities? This 2-day session will focus on how Indigenous Peoples understand the importance of the drum within their worldview and the connections to the Manitoba mathematics curriculum outcomes.
Virtual Online-details to follow September 27 & 28, 2021
Interested schools will need to:
- Designate one Middle years teacher from your school to attend the 2-day roundtable. More than one teacher can attend however, we will be providing one drum kit per school.
- Fill out the registration form and fax back to Ruth Maytwaywashing, Administrative Assistant, by Friday, September 10, 2021 at 204.477-4314
