MET Number Project

MFNERC is here to help you catch up on your MET Number applications.

  • Cleaning student information system data
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date data
  • Keeping up with student’s MET numbers

MET Number is a unique identifier assigned to each student upon registration with Manitoba Education for record-keeping purposes. This number remains the same from Kindergarten to Grade 12, and is different from any student number assigned by a local school division.

Clean Data

We aim to ensure data integrity and management for MFNERC member schools and MFNSS participating First Nations by updating student information system data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data, and keeping up with students’ MET#.

Solutions for Admin

The MET# Project helps school administrators and staff manage accurate student data, reducing workload and enabling them to focus on core responsibilities for fostering student success.

Benefits for Students

The MET# Project aims to help schools overcome challenges such as difficulty in tracking progress, course selection, and graduation due to a lack of valid MET numbers. It aims to eliminate these barriers and support students in their educational journey.
